Stando a quanto riporta il segretario del sindacato di Polizia Penitenziaria S.PP., Aldo Di Giacomo, sarebbero risultate positive al tampone molecolare oltre 40 detenute e anche 3 agenti. Il sindacato denuncia il fatto che, seppure ormai all'interno della struttura non manchino dispositivi di protezione individuale, il personale e i detenuti ancora non sono stati vaccinati.
