Ricercatori americani dell'Istituto Politecnico \u2013 Universit\u00e0 Statale della Virginia (UVA) hanno messo a punto un nuovo vaccino sperimentale basato su plasmidi (porzioni di DNA) e batteri uccisi potenzialmente in grado di proteggere dai coronavirus gi\u00e0 diffusi e da quelli che in futuro potrebbero compiere il salto di specie (spillover) e causare nuove pandemie. Il vaccino sperimentale sarebbe efficace anche contro tutte le varianti.
