Nel 1981 nel Gran Premio del Canada Gilles Villeneuve riusc\u00ec a guidare per tre giri senza avere la visuale. Dopo un contatto l'ala anteriore della Ferrari numero 27 si danneggia ma invece di staccarsi dalla vettura resta in posizione anomala e soprattutto obliqua coprendo la visuale di Villeneuve che riesce ad arrivare comunque al terzo posto.
