La U.S. Energy Information Administration ha annunciato che nel 2020, per la prima volta nella storia, gli Stati Uniti hanno prodotto pi\u00f9 energia dalle fonti rinnovabili che dal carbone e dal nucleare. Le prime, trainate soprattutto dall'eolica, hanno raggiunto il 21 percento del totale, la nucleare si \u00e8 fermata al 20 percento e il carbone al 19 percento. I gas naturali restano saldamente in prima posizione.
