Analizzando circa 300 anticorpi anti coronavirus sviluppati da pazienti convalescenti, scienziati americani hanno identificato un gruppo molto potente prodotto da un gene in comune chiamato IGHV3-53. Osservando l'interazione tra due di questi anticorpi e la proteina S del patogeno sono state ottenute informazioni preziosissime per lo sviluppo di un promettente vaccino.
