L'attrice Jennifer Gray sar\u00e0 protagonista e produttrice del film che, secondo il magazine americano Deadline, potrebbe essere proprio un sequel del film cult del 1987. La casa cinematografica Lionsgate aveva gi\u00e0 prodotto un sequel nel 2004, 'Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights'. Il nuovo film potrebbe essere un omaggio a Patrick Swayze, scomparso nel 2009.
