Il 36enne Antonis Karyotis voleva imbarcarsi dal porto del Pireo, ad Atene, sul traghetto della Blue Horizon diretto a Heraklion. I membri dell'equipaggio gliel'hanno impedito facendolo finire in mare. Lo sventurato ha trovato la morte nel vortice dell'elica della nave. Quattro persone sono state arrestate.
