Sale al 7,2% la quota delle auto elettriche in Europa nel secondo trimestre del 2020 falcidiato dal coronavirus. Nel Vecchio Continente inizia ad essere consistente la diffusione delle vetture a batterie che triplicano il dato rispetto allo stesso trimestre del 2019. Calano invece auto a benzina e diesel, ma nel complesso anche le immatricolazioni delle nuove auto a carburante alternativo con l'Italia fanalino di coda.
